EyeEm is a photo-sharing app used by more than ten million people worldwide. The 2015 EyeEm Awards are a platform for you to get discovered and have your work exhibited, published and seen by leading artists, editors and curators. There has been an overwhelming response for this competition – Over just six weeks, 200,000 photos have been submitted from across the globe. The vision behind this photo competition is to find & support up-coming talents in photography and give their photos the attention they deserve.
The 10 winners and the EyeEm Photographer of the Year of the 10 categories will be announced at the EyeEm Festival in New York City on September 18, 2015. The grand prize winner will be flown to New York City to join The 2015 EyeEm Festival in September.
Last week, EyeEm released its 100 awards finalists through all of the contest categories: The Traveler, The Portraitist, The Street Photographer, The Moment, The Photojournalist, The Architect, The Fashionist, The Foodie, The Action Photographer, and The Great Outdoors.
