Photographer Stephen McMennamy shoots two photographs in simple backgrounds and creatively arranges them side-by-side to create imaginative, humorous and unexpected scenes for his series #ComboPhotos. Check out his entire ComboPhoto series here.
“It’s really just from looking around and seeing what things are out in the world might make for an interesting fit or what would make for a nice contrast once combined,” McMennamy told PetaPixel. “As far as process, it’s just a matter of me hunting things down and aiming for the cleanest shot possible.”
“From the beginning I got a lot of positive reactions from friends on Instagram, which felt like a pretty good reason to keep coming up with more,” the Atlanta based photographer told i100.co.uk. “When people say things like ‘this makes me happy’ it makes it tough to shut it down.”
