The modern American holiday of Mother’s Day was first celebrated in 1908 by Anna Jarvis and became an official U.S. holiday in 1914. It is now celebrated all over the world. Millions of people celebrate the second Sunday of May by giving their mother flowers, a card, or a present.
So this Mother’s Day, go home and cook your mom a special meal, spend time with her, and thank her for all that she did. Happy Mother’s Day !!!
