Do you know today is Pencil day !!!
On this date in 1858, Hymen Lipman received a patent for a pencil with an attached eraser.The eraser-tipped pencil is 153 years old today. More than 14 billion pencils are produced in the world each year which is enough to circle the globe 62 times !!! A typical lead pencil can draw a line that is 35 miles long and can write approximately 45,000 words.
